Job Purpose:
The Human Resource Manager Recruiting Assistant supports our recruiting activities.
Job Description:
  • Responsible to adhere to company human safety policies and procedures.
  • Responsible to adhere to company food safety, quality and regulatory practices and procedures
  • Coordinate hiring activities
  • Undertake clerical duties (i.e., answering emails, drafting offer and rejection letters)
  • Prepare and post job ads online
  • Help with resume screening and initial phone screens
  • Schedule interviews and keep calendars for all hiring managers and candidates.
  • Greet and assist interviewees onsite.
  • Process background checks.
  • Maintain candidate database.
  • Assist and maintain all new hire paperwork and coordinate safety orientation.
  • Other duties as needed and performing related duties as assigned.
Essential Functions:
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of high school diploma or GED
  • Must be 18 yrs or older.
  • 2+ years proven experience as a recruiter; hiring practices, interviews and onboarding.
  • Expert in using recruiting tools and social networks for recruiting.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Great attention to detail.
  • MS Office, Word, Excel, etc.
Abilities:
  • Maintain respectful communication with co-workers at all levels within the organization.
  • Ability to problem-solve.
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Moderate math skills.
  • Moderate computer skills
Working conditions:
Fast-paced manufacturing environment that may include weekend work and overtime, exposure to various temperatures and noise levels exceeding 85 decibels.
Physical requirements:
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time,
  • Perform repetitive tasks.
  • Lift up to 50lbs periodically.
  • Bend, stoop, and kneel.
  • Potential allergens exposure to Peanuts, Other Tree Nuts, Wheat, Soy, Milk, and Eggs.
  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment corresponding to task (i.e. hearing protection, face shield, safety glasses, aprons, gloves, etc. )
